Through its affiliation with Juno Investments, a New York and Chicago based private equity firm, NorthWinds seeks out potential investment opportunities in renewable energy projects and companies.
NorthWinds’ primary investment objective is to identify control opportunities with strong management teams focused on attractive niches within the sector which are in their early to mid‑stage of development and maturity process.
Juno focuses on lower middle market, domestic companies that have a unique competitive advantage stemming from either a niche expertise or a specialized ability to capitalize on the regulatory environment in which they operate. Juno actively seeks companies that manufacture high value added products, dominate defensible market niches, and that can demonstrate strong growth potential if injected with sufficient capital and strategic guidance. Unlike other private equity firms, Juno does not shy away from “special situations” such as environmental or litigation issues.
In each of Juno’s investments, they seek to partner with strong management teams that are interested in improving company performance by leveraging our deep expertise in acquisitions, operations and financial management. Juno's goal is to ensure the continuity of the existing management team while infusing the growth capital needed to nurture and improve the business, both internally and through strategic add-on acquisitions.
